This isn't actually a strip, of course, it's the cover to the popular Hazards of Smoking. Granted, these comics really only exist in digital form, thus no need for a cover, but perhaps I shall send all the hard copies to Mr. Prowler, complete with binding (albeit my own crappy idea of binding). Anyhow, the comic series is not yet finished, there are a couple more to go. So hang in there, and in the meantime....
Imagine the lighter that is the 'i' in Smoking burning Rodent so he bumps his head and knocks loose the 'H' which falls on his foot. I'm quite happy with this, hope y'all are too. image (c) me, Rodent (c) himself. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. This looks great. I love seeing Rodent bigger like this for the cover image, and you beautifully captured the fun of the ensuing comics, with the lighter causing Rodent to bang his head and have the letter fall down on him.
The use of the smoke to create the 'Z' and Rodent's tail to create the 'S' are both wonderful touches, working beautifully with the lettering you had gone with.
As always, you've done a wonderful job at capturing that perfect mixture of tragedy and adorableness. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job with it.
